Thanks for checking out "Shadows of Burning Lights." This is very much an MVP to explore the idea of a game using afterimages as the main mechanic. In this demo, there is a small puzzle to get out of a room.

Hint: afterimages are made by staring at the torches and can interact with other things

that is such a cool concept! i'd maybe make it more clear on the torches? like as it's about to be ready to be carried to the door, i was running back and forth between the torches not understanding (the hint was well needed but it isn't clear in the game about that) Also the door opening can maybe be a bit faster or something? i was able to walk through as it was opening and i thought i could continue on. Very good work and good luck if you continue the game!

hey! Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! I def agree with you on the torches. Gonna be making the afterimages appear more like an actually afterimage as we continue working on the game which should make it more obvious. Also yeah the door takes a bit too long haha
